The developers behind the newly re-branded TENTEN (aka 1010 Wilshire) residential project in City West plan to introduce a new living concept in Downtown Los Angeles.
With its early 2008 opening drawing near, the building that was previously thought to be condominiums is now being marketed as a “lifestyle solution” for business people who want to “Live, Work and Play” in the city (the originality is killing me here!).
The development will offer 227 fully furnished “luxury live/work suites” for long or short-term stays. Basic utilities will be included, and they’re advertising no short-term lease fees. Apparently, living arrangements for any monthly duration will be available.
The project’s new website offers a plethora of interior renderings (see some below) and two short videos touring the inside and outside.
The old 16-story office structure has been undergoing an adaptive reuse since 2006. Renderings of the final transformation can be seen at Killefer Flammang Architects’ website. The building’s exterior is now being prepped for installation of the new bluish-gray facade panels.
A rooftop pool and amenity deck will be included.
