Oh, how we’ve been looking forward to this one! Orchid Hotel’s Oh! Restaurant will officially open after New Year’s Day.

Hotel manager Azzi Kashani explains that South Park’s stylish new hotspot is ramping up for its private-event debut January 1st, and should open to the public thereafter.

We should mention that staff training and a possible staff re-structuring (what the hell?) after the opening event could cause a delay in hours of operation. Hmmm… need we remind them about Mode’s recent melodrama?

The SoHo-esque restaurant will be located in the hotel’s lobby and will feature a dramatic brick wall, fireplace seating area, Charlie Chaplin movie projections and a mezzanine lounge.

Head Chef Corey Locker will serve up Spanish cuisine with a California twist for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
