7-eleven opens tomorrow!

7-Eleven Opening, Downtown Los AngelesSoon Downtowners will be able to grab their late-night snacks and Big Gulps anytime they need.

The 24-hour convenience store is nearly finished stocking its shelves, and employees are scrambling to have everything in order for tomorrow’s big day. No specific opening time has been set, but worker’s on site say it will be “as early as possible.”

The new 7-Eleven is located on the ground level of the new Mandel Lofts at 7th and Olive and will be Downtown’s first location.

When we visited back in October, we were told to expect a late December opening. Finally, a retailer who hit their mark!

Did they get their liquor license? I remember you were saying it was still listed as “pending”, even as close to a few weeks ago.

woo hoo! I have never been so excited for a 7-Eleven! I hope they have a good selection akin to the Pine Ave location, and the one in Downtown San Diego by the America’s Plaza trolley station.

They should dress it up in the Kwik-E-Mart getup to commemorate the Simpsons Movie DVD release.

It’s kind of crazy that it will be the first 7-Eleven in Downtown.

It’s actually on the smaller side for a 7-11. But it should have all the basics. It seems even smaller than the one at Vermont and Franklin.

The size is perfect for an urban environment!
