This may just redefine drink specials in Downtown.
Sixth Street Bar & Grill, the charming gastropub-style eatery at 6th and Central, is offering $1 first drinks and $2 second drinks to angelenic’s readers and their party on Tuesday, August 12th all day long.
The promotion applies to all well drinks, mixed drinks and beer. Excludes call drinks. Print and present the promotion coupon at the time of ordering to receive the discount.
Of course, owner Chipper Pastron is hoping it’s more than just the drinks that will get you to go — and to keep coming back. With food that’s many steps above the average, we can attest to the pizzas, burgers, and special panko-crusted salmon.
So bring your friends or coworkers, have a few beers and enjoy the crowd!
If you go: You must print the promotion coupon and present it at time of ordering in order to get the discount.
Getting there: At the southwest corner of 6th and Central in the Industrial District. Parking is available on-site, and street parking is abundant. Metro buses serve 6th Street.

Great offer! Hope they make a good Bloody Mary at 6 am.
I really like the 6th Street Grill. The food is good, service is pretty fast, and the owner is a great guy. It’s a little out of the way but worth the trip. Easy parking.

I have drinks aqnd eat here about 3 times a week. The food is good, the staff is great and the drinks are good and cheap. It helps that it is 3 blocks from my Gallery and I can walk there. This is a great place for production lunches and happy hours, especially for people in the Barker Block, Molino Lofts, Toy Lofts and Nabisco Lofts which are all within 6-blocks. See everyone there on Tuesday, stop and say Hi to me also (5pm-8pm). Cheers!
Ordered a burger with fries to go for $7.50 — beats paying $12 - $14 at Puck Express - decent food. The manager (I’m guessing) hinted they are considering Sunday brunch in the future if all goes well. Let’s keep them in business! We need more brunch options on the east end of downtown.

Drinks are s-t-i-f-f and delicious, food was yummy. Manager was also very nice and chatted us up, thanking us (and your blog) for coming in .
