cantaloop frozen yogurt double scooping downtown

Cantaloop Frozen Yogurt will soon have two location in DowntownSouthern California’s fro-yo pandemic is about to threaten more of Downtown. Cantaloop, a natural frozen yogurt chain, will soon boast two snack-shacks in the Financial District.

Locations are arriving at California Plaza and City National Plaza’s underground mall at 5th and Flower. Cantaloop sets itself apart from the other frozen yogurt establishments by offering pomegranate, mango and blueberry-favored desserts in addition to… “plain.” May I suggest cantaloupe flavor?

The company currently has one location in Hollywood, with others planned for Culver City and Santa Ana.

I don’t know if you guys covered it, but another yogurt place opened up in the Promenade Towers building at 123 S. Fig; it’s called Milano Freezer, and there’s a couple of them in LA, I think. Anyway, they have three flavors, which they rotate weekly, a bunch of toppings, free wifi, etc. Their yogurt’s better than Pinkberry, in my opinion, and they deserve a little recognition for opening up in a building primarily devoid of retail/food options, despite having been a downtown fixture since like the 80s. Same building also just got a coffeeshop in the parking structure called Koffee Groundz, and they make a pretty good blended chai latte.

Thanks, Nick! I have to say, I haven’t been on foot that way in a long time. I’ll try my best to get out there soon.

too bad they didn’t open the milano freezer in the alyssa milano lofts on 6th. that would’ve made too much sense.

Cefiore is also opening up a store downtown, on 7th street and hope beside the Macy’s Plaza and the Rite-Aid.

sounds to me like it’s going to be disgusting.. I’ve had this stuff before.. It’s like flavored bland ice with a few frozen fruit choices tossed on top for about 6 bucks! Total ripoff.. Stick with pinkberry, or just stay away from yogurt… This is such a stupid trend anyways, hehe

Cantaloop is now open and with a few more flavors than pinkberry.

You frozen yogurt lovers, “Garden Berry Yogurt Lounge” is open in the heart of downtown L.A. garment district, on 9th corner of Santee. They have 8 different flavors at a time, while changing flavors like cheesecake, esspreso, cake batters for the sweet tooth, and those who love the tart take in flavors like, promagrante, mango, green apple, taro, green tea..and I cann’t remember them all.
The best part its this place its self serve, charged by the oz, put as many toppings as you like and mix as many flavors as you like, pay less then some other well know yogurt places around.
