The biggest night of the music industry is bringing some limelight and red carpet to Downtown Los Angeles. The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will broadcast live from Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live tomorrow night, and has transformed the flashy Nokia Plaza into an outdoor performance venue for some of the world’s biggest acts.
Performances by Carrie Underwood, Beyonce and an orchestra-backed Foo Fighters will take place on a high-tech stage erected this weekend along Chick Hearn Court.
For those of you unable to attend the event, there will still be an opportunity to experience some of the excitement firsthand. AEG is now advertising that the 30,000 square-foot Grammy Museum will debut this fall inside LA Live’s second-phase complex at Figueroa and Olympic.
I may consider going if someone can promise me Rihanna won’t have an exhibit if she wins Record of the Year.
