lot 44 coffee responds to community input
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what it’s all about!
Java guru Ariel Graham of Lot 44 Coffee sends angelenic a gracious follow-up email regarding the lengthy discussion of her debut business hours next month.
“I will let you know the final outcome on hours, but know that the feedback the community is providing is being take to heart. I will be hiring additional baristas to the team to accommodate modifications to original hours,” she acknowledges.
Graham’s initial plans called for four coffee chefs over a 7:00am to 7:00pm weekday schedule. After members of the community weighed in on their expectations for the new cafe, Lot 44 Coffee will be arranging extended hours of operation.
The responsibility falls on all of you to make sure Graham’s trust is well placed. Her leap of faith illustrates true dedication to the neighborhood she’s helping establish, and I have no doubt she’ll find tremendous success here.
Thanks to all readers who contributed to the discussion with their suggestions, praises and opinions – this is your pay off.
Now get out there and buy some coffee… next month… in the late evening!

The only caveat I’d offer Ms. Graham is from my days in advertising. What’s important is not what people say they will do. Rather, what they actually do is the key. People will say they will do all kinds of things when asked.
Of course, best of luck with this business venture.
