Nothing beats the perfect pair of jeans, except perhaps, the perfect pair of jeans at a huge discount! This weekend, Downtowners can walk over to The Warehouse Sale at the Los Angeles Convention Center and envelop themselves in rows and rows of rich, dark blue yumminess… for less!

The sale offers high-end jeans for both men and women, although, truth be told, it’s geared more toward women. Brands include 7 for All Mankind, AG, Chip and Pepper, Citizens of Humanity, Diesel, Earnest Sewn, Genetic Denim, Hudson, James, Joe’s Jeans, Kasil, Lucky, Paige Premium Denim and True Religion.

This event is not for the shy. There are no dressing rooms. You simply try on jean after jean after jean in a huge communal space, so make sure to wear some cute undies. Also be advised that most girls’ luxury denim only extends to a 32 waist, so, if you’re a little bigger than this, this may not be your cup of tea.

I went two years ago and scored big time — six pairs of beautiful denim at severely slashed prices (buy five, get one free). The regular retail value of my jeans ranged from $120 to over $200 each, but my average price for each pair from The Warehouse Sale ended up being only about $67. It was like getting Saks Fifth Avenue quality for Costco prices.

The catch, though, is you’ll experience Costco ambience. But that’s a small price to pay for glorious style.
