Hoagies & Wings on BroadwayThose “famous California hoagies and hot wings,” known in the Valley and Hollywood since 2004 for being fast and affordable, are now available to Downtowners looking for quick, quality eats without the high price tag.

After a recent public opening in the Broadway Spring Center (fronting Broadway), Hoagies & Wings is holding its grand opening celebration tomorrow, complete with a ribbon cutting by Councilman Jose Huizar.

The debut marks the fourth location for the regional fast food chain, which touts several #1 titles from Citysearch including Winner for Best Chicken Wings.

Hoagies & Wings is also recognized as a leader in delivery and catering services in Los Angeles, evident by their willingness to serve buffalo-style hot wings takeout anywhere in Downtown, including USC and Silver Lake.

Aside from the two namesake food offerings, salads, burgers, fries and garlic bread (mmm… slurp) are also available at a low price point.

Since I lived in the home of chicken wings, upstate New York, I style myself as an expert on all things wing.

Trust me, these wings are the Real Deal. The hoagie are also quite refined, and kick Quizno’s to the curb. (We won’t even mention Subway.) They are slightly higher priced than the other chains, but are probably well worth the extra cash.
