Does anyone have a rendering on how this district will look like after building l.a. central, the concerto, the ritz, and any other buildings in the area. My guess is it will be competing big time with Time Square.

This might seem like a stupid question but what's being built on the west side of Flower between Olympic and 9th? I see some steel wire columns erupting from the ground but it seems like it's stayed the same way for months. Is that the LA Central mentioned above?

A few weeks ago, we were supposed to get a phone interview with the guys at Monion Group regarding LA Central. The project manager had agreed to it, then (even after a reminder) never got back to us.

The lack of response is very telling in my opinion.

, I am pretty sure LA central is in full wait and see mode. If the district exploded and successfully weathers the "recessoin" I am sure they will start construction. If LA live opens and isnt the instant success most people hope, they will wait. I really think it is less about selling condos and more about the success of the district. My suggestion is to forget about LA central and expect construction to start no earlier than 4th 2009. My thought is that LA live will eventually be a huge success and thus la central will eventually get built.

Watching the components of L.A live under construction makes the empty parking lots at L.A Central and the Liberty Grill seem all the more glaring. I really hope L.A central does go through, it is so vital for fully activating that area.
