glass facade revealed at the summit

As promised by the classy makeover renderings, VTBS Architects has redressed the frumpy 1960s-era highrise structure at 3223 W. 6th Street in Koreatown with a shimmery new couture facade.
A large section of the upgraded look is now visible as more of the construction cocoon peels away. Contemporary geometric arrangements of blue-tinted glass define the building once dominated by innocuous yellow concrete.
The adaptive reuse project, known as The Summit, opened its sales center last week for the 96 condominiums offered from the low $500,000s to $1.4 million. Developer Big Rock Partners hopes the project’s architectural distinction will be a key selling point for the high-end residences. If not, considering today’s market conditions, they may be stuck between a big rock and a hard place.

Come on, urbanites, start buying. It’s only ONE block from the Red Line subway station!
Once the visa restrictions are lifted for South Korea, all the units will be sold. You heard it here first.
great to see this project getting built so quickly!
what’s the latest on the equitable city center at 6th and alexandria? that mall was supposed to open month ago, but it’s still empty - no signs of life at all except the very rare sighting of a construction worker or two.
