With an opening date scheduled for Saturday, December 6, the brand spankin’ new GRAMMY Museum at LA Live is a must-see for industry insiders, record junkies and music fans of all stripes.
The first venue of its kind, the GRAMMY Museum celebrates the music that has shaped our culture and is deeply rooted in the fabric of Los Angeles.
Kicking off the new programming is Songs of Conscience, Sounds of Freedom, an exhibit exploring the ability of artists from genres as varied as folk, rap and punk rock to inspire generations to face down adversity and hopelessness, and to get involved in the political process for lasting change.
Documentary films, historic instruments and audio gear, and photographs from both public and private sources help create a clearer picture of how this most influential art has affected those who came before us and today.
