Great news, Downtown! Thanks to your efforts and generosity, two local fundraisers have helped raise over $1,100 for the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank so far.

Last weekend’s Gays on Ice event at Pershing Square — with food generously provided by the Biltmore Hotel and Gallery Bar at the after party — was a huge success, and donations from that night totaled over $700.00.

Angelenic‘s own Downtown Virtual Food Drive has raised $440.00 for the Foodbank, but we’re only halfway there!  Help us raise $1,000 by donating today.  For every dollar raised, the Foodbank can purchase four meals for families in need.

All proceeds from the Downtown Virtual Food Drive will go toward food purchased in bulk.  To learn more about the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank, check out our inside tour of the facility.
