downtown los angeles welcomes rotarians’ 99th annual convention
Starting this Sunday, June 15 through Wednesday, June 18, the Los Angeles Convention Center plays host to the 99th Annual Rotary International Convention.
Over 25,000 members of Rotary International are expected to come Downtown over the four-day event, boosting the local economy by patronizing restaurants, retail, hotels and other services.
The last decade has seen a residential and business renaissance, making it much easier for visitors to explore beyond the boundaries of the Convention Center and see what Downtown really has to offer.
There’s a number of things to do in Downtown Los Angeles, so check out angelenic’s coverage of our ever-expanding local dining scene to nightlife that can fit anyone’s idea of a good time. Downtown is even home to a brand-new Sunday farmers’ market from 11:00am to 4:00pm across the street from the Staples Center.
