The Old Bank District is becoming even more of a late-night destination Downtown with the announcement that Rocket Pizza will be expanding business hours starting June 23.

Currently open only until midnight Monday through Saturday and 10:00pm on Sundays, the store will now remain open until 1:00am Thursday through Saturday. The pizzeria will deliver within a limited radius of the Old Bank District.

Pizza, pasta, hot sandwiches, salads, beer and wine are served — though Rocket is known among leather-tongued veterans for the Meltdown pizza, a fiery combination of Italian sausage, crushed red peppers and jalapeños. Ouch!
