Last month angelenic got an insider tour of the American Apparel Factory Headquarters, based in a large industrial building at 7th and Alameda. On July 27th from 2:00pm to midnight, the powerhouse clothing manufacturer brings it all out for LA to see, with the 2008 Factory Flea Market event.
Prices on the goods start at $1 and go up from there — at severely discounted prices. To make the event more all-encompassing, live DJs, food, drinks, snow cones, games and art are going to be offered. Nearly 4,000 attendees flocked to the sale last year, with over 200,000 garments sold.
Once the sun goes down, the dance party starts. Get ready for the “secret French musical guest” that’ll be showing — so let the speculation begin! And by the way, I’ve already checked: Justice has a gig in Montpellier, France that day.

I think it might be French band- Justice.
They are cool and seem to fit not only in name but the AA culture and im not talking about alcoholics anonymous lol

But then again it can be maybe Superbus or Diam’s. Those are my guesses, but it might all come down to money and how much DC is willing to shell out/pay .
I don’t think it’s Justice - they’re playing in France on the 27th.

He’s performing in LA on the 25th and nowhere else until August 3rd…I’m sure he’s staying here an extra 2 days to do a 2nd gig.
I saw him perform with Justice, Sebastian, Kavinsky and DJ Mehdi last year. He’s pretty awesome too.

i went last year. it was 2 bucks then, i think. and it kind of sucked. there were a billion people there and there was a really long line just to get in. stuff was all left in huge piles you could rummage through, and they pretty much had no mens stuff in normal human sizes.
anyway, maybe if I was narcissistic and not culturally / globally aware, I would go again, but i won’t
