American Apparel has relocated the operations of its Downtown retail store, moving from the corner location at 2nd and Central to a larger, more visible spot next to Kimski Makes inside the Hikari Apartments.

The move across the street occurred on Monday.

According to a company rep, American Apparel will retain use of its former location, possibly turning it into a clothing store for infants and toddlers.

No official plans have been made, but local parents who’d like to have a place to keep their little ones on the cutting-edge of cool, let your voice be heard in the comments!

I saw the storefront open for business this morning. Looks great! Nice to see these storefronts finally occupied. Tremendous visual improvement. I can’t wait for that restaurant adjacent to Kimski to open.

Again, a more up-to-date photo would be good.

i don’t have any kids to buy AA stuff for. maybe if I was narcissistic and not culturally / globally aware, I would have some, but I don’t.

Mdogg, it is called Darwinian selection. Your non-participation in perpetuating your gene pool is greatly appreciated by me and, ultimately, my kids. Thanks.
