lofty dog introduces doggie daycare may 19
After relocating to an expanded space in the Barker Block earlier this year, urban pup shop Lofty Dog continues to broaden its service base for the Downtown loftees.
During an open house event on Monday May 19, owners Cabrini Schneider and Karen Martin will begin offering busy pet owners a collar-free place to leave the “kids” during the day.
The daycare service — or Loftydog Academy — is centered around a 3,500 square-foot indoor dog park with “benches, lanterns, agility courses for the dogs to play, TVs, WiFi, coffee, teas, and more.” (WiFi? Celia, look what Wonton has done… now all the other dogs want to start blogging too!) Membership rates are offered on a daily, monthly and annual basis.
Overnight boarding services with “five-star” hospitality suites will be offered in September. We expect nothing less here in Downtown.

stephen do you know if they watch kitties to? i sometimes feel like the only cat owner in downtown!
That’s a good question, not sure. But would you really want your little kitty in a room full of feisty little pups? ;)
they’re also having a sneak preview of their indoor dog park today (saturday may 17), from 12-4pm. they have the info on their blog.
the fake grass they have is amazing, they have bistro tables set up for the humans, and good music, too.
we’re going to grab some lunch before heading over with wonton around noon and i’m going to bring my laptop to take advantage of the wifi. afterwards, we’ll hop next door to check out the shopping at loft appeal and cleveland industrial furniture. hope to see some of you guys there!
