meet your neighbors: south park block party

Hotel Figueroa Rooftop Sign, Downtown Los Angeles

The Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council is organizing a Downtown neighborhood block party at The Hotel Figueroa this week, and you’re all invited.

The social mixer will be held this Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 7:00pm. No additional details are available, but what else do you need to know… it’s a party!

If you’re a Downtown resident and have been looking to meet other locals or make business contacts, this is a great opportunity at a great venue. Maybe we’ll see you there!

Also that evening, the O Hotel (formerly the Orchid Hotel) is hosting its own Downtown Residents’ Night. As a trial run for Oh! Restaurant & Bar, come out and order food and drinks — or just mooch off of the complimentary sangria. Residents’ Night runs from 6:00 to 9:00 pm this Thursday, and no RSVP necessary.

Hi, This is Gino from the Downtown Social Club. Here is the flyer the good folks at DLANC have prepared for the event.

The social club will be in attendance as well and looking for new members. Hope to see you all there.

I just noticed there seems to be a conflict of times for the start of the party. I would suggest arriving after 7:30pm just to be safe.

my wife, who is the co-chair of the organizing subcommittee for this thing, says the official start time of the party is 7pm. but nobody else involved in the economic development committee or the subcommittee will answer her emails any more, so who knows?
